1. What Are Cookies and Local Storage?
A cookie is a small text file placed onto your device by a website you visit. Cookies are commonly used across the web to keep users logged in, record site preferences, and track visitor browsing history for ad networks.

3. How We Protect Documents in Storage
Files you select for merging, compressing, converting, editing, or signing are processed in-memory using WebAssembly and JavaScript Workers.
Your documents are never written to HTTP cookies or persistent browser storage unless explicitly requested by a tool feature (e.g. saving an in-progress draft strictly inside your own browser). Closing or refreshing your browser tab clears active document buffers.
