Are CSS styles preserved in the PDF?
Inline styles and embedded CSS are honoured, because the HTML is rendered in a real browser container before being captured. External stylesheets and web fonts referenced by URL will not load, since the file is processed offline — embed them in the HTML or use local files.
Can I convert a live web page by pasting its link?
No. PdfPix only accepts an .html file you have saved to disk. To convert a live page, use your browser's 'Save page as' command first and upload the saved file.
Will the PDF text be selectable?
No. The rendered page is captured as an image and embedded in the PDF, so it looks exactly like the original but the text cannot be selected or searched. This also means the output file is larger than a text-based PDF.
Can I convert protected or login-gated pages?
Save the page from a browser session where you are already signed in, then upload the saved HTML file. PdfPix does not fetch URLs and cannot authenticate on your behalf.
